  • Maintaining the Courage to Pursue Your Dream

Sometimes this whole process of going after dreams is TOUGH. And there are days when it can get downright discouraging. I’m having one of those days so I went in search of some inspiration and found this amazing quote.

“It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.” — Alan Cohen

I needed these words today and wanted to share them here in case anyone else can use them. Happy Friday!

  1. Change can be terrifying but it is also exhiliarating. We are all changing all the time anyway, so why not embrace it. I am loving it. All changes are positive for me right now.

  2. Words to live by … thank you for sharing. When I ditched the brick and mortar business, the big house and all the trappings so I could live a dream — travel back and forth to the Caribbean to pursue my fiction writing and work on my little wooden cottage next to the sea — the world opened up. I can breathe, I am happy … God is good. It takes faith, courage, to pursue your dreams. Don’t let anyone stop you; it’s YOUR life and you deserve every happiness. We too often get caught up, and we forget the future is really the very next second. Life is not forever … live the life you want, starting now … it’ll be over before you know it. Much success to you!

  3. Cassandra – thanks for this note. It’s so true. Life is short and we’ve got to embrace the moment, go after our dreams and make every second count. Good luck with your journey! Best – Ingrid
